I’ve reported stories for ABC Radio’s AM, PM and The World Today and triple j’s Hack programs, and am currently working as a producer on RN Breakfast.
For four years I had the immense privilege of being the executive producer and presenter of Backchat, FBi Radio’s current affairs and politics program. Concurrently I was the executive producer of All The Best, a storytelling and documentary podcast which is broadcast nationally on the Community Radio Network.
I’ve designed radio and podcasting workshops and events for the Sydney Writers Festival, Multicultural NSW, Girls Write Up by the Stella Prize, the Emerging Writers Festival, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia and the National Young Writers Festival.
I co-founded the Audiocraft conference – the first of its kind to bring together podcasters and radio makers from the independent, public and community broadcasting sectors, and sat on the board at FBi Radio for three years.
This is my favourite piece of radio I’ve made so far. It’s a feature documentary about lead pollution and industrial capture in Broken Hill. The Guardian was kind enough to name it one of the best Australian podcast episodes of 2016.
